Mixing, MIDEM and other monkey-business...

Well we've done it! With a final guitar part, a vintage Hammond drum loop, and a brilliant backing vocal session from The Burlettes at long last we have finished tracking the album - after two years of favour pulling, dodgy-dealing, blood, sweat and tears all we've got left to do is mix and master the thing... that and sell it to the rest of the world - which is why I'm off to MIDEM in January, where I'll be plying my trade, selling my wares and shamelessly shmoozing with music biz types from around the world in an effort to expand my creative empire.
If that doesn't work I'll be applying for X-Factor and Big Brother.
Only kidding! I'm gonna kidnap Zane Lowe.
